West European Publications of XVI-XVIII Centuries in the Collections of the Fundamental Library of Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University

Abstract

The article focuses on the problems of the research into the fund of foreign literature in the main library of the Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University and West European publications of the XVI-XVIII centuries as a part of it. Ways of introducing them into the scientific use and attracting students and teachers to the investigation of rare and valuable items are discussed. The process of dealing with some rare publications of this period is described.
