Рассмотрены вопросы изучения фонда иностранной литературы в Фундаментальной библиотеке Пермского государственного гуманитарно-педагогического университета (ПГГПУ) и выявления из него западноевропейских изданий XVI – XVIII веков, способы введения их в научный оборот и привлечения студентов и профессорско-преподавательского состава вуза к исследованию редких и ценных экземпляров. Дана краткая характеристика некоторых изданий этого периода, выявленных в процессе работы.
The article focuses on the problems of the research into the fund of foreign literature in the main library of the Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University and West European publications of the XVI-XVIII centuries as a part of it. Ways of introducing them into the scientific use and attracting students and teachers to the investigation of rare and valuable items are discussed. The process of dealing with some rare publications of this period is described.
